KAOS PSOFTWARE makes your computer do magic. most attempts at computer magic use the computer as a tool like a deck or candle. we want to teach the computer to do magic itself.

SC

currently we offer one application: SC [download]. SC works on a chaos magic paradigm. it lets your computer semi-autonomously cast sigils. you can enter an intent as text and the computer will convert it into a sigil using a simple algorithm. a computer sigil is not an image file depicting a sigil. computers don't know what an image is. a computer sigil is a string of binary data, like all symbols recognised by a computer ultimately are. the program can then be instructed to meditate on this sigil in different ways:

by writing it repeatedly to memory until runs out of space and experiences a moment of rupture/gnosis by crashing.
by repeatedly printing it to the screen or forwarding it to another application until cancelled.
by sending it out into the world over the network. it can be sent to any ip address and SC can be configured to recieve sigils from other copies of the program on other people's computers and forward them on.
